Flanged Piston Type Sampling Valves
This series of valves can be used for sampling or the bottom flush
drain valves on vessels on higher pressure pipelines. Basically the valves are a flanged version of the Series 5 valves and all of the accessories between the two series of valves are interchangeable. The valves are only offered in 316 Stainless steel in 4 ex Stock sizes from 10 mm to 25 mm pistons with ANSI B16.5 1” NB ASA #300 flanges. The valves cannot be offered with piston extensions in front of the forward shrouds, however the shrouds can be machined off to give a piston extension of approximately 40 mm in front of the flange. A range of accessories and bottles are available to take samples safely. A firesafe secondary valve can be offered to bolt directly to the outlet
flange. Alternative flange sizes can be machined as specials to order either 1” NB ASA #150 or ASA #600.
